What is the PRECISION ARMAMENT - M11 Severe Duty Muzzle Brake 6.5 5/8-24 SS Black?

A massive symmetrical blast baffle, combined with two compensated front baffles, redirect gas to the sides and upward delivering unparalleled recoil reduction while also minimizing muzzle rise and ground disturbance. High tolerance class-3 threads machined in same operation as bore aperture ensures perfect concentricity; this combined with a progressively decreasing baffle thickness minimizes bullet flight disturbance resulting in less yaw, higher BC, and improved accuracy. Computer FEA optimized for maximum strength to weight ratio and impact survivability. Precision CNC machined from high strength HTSR 400-series stainless steel bar for superior heat and corrosion resistance. Wrench flats on top and bottom for easy muzzle brake installation and removal. Available in either an ultra wear resistant DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) matte black finish, or stainless steel in-the-white, matte finish. This muzzle brake is designed to fit 5/8-24 threaded barrels. M11 a Great Product for Magnums
This a an excellent Muzzle Break, I have this mounted on my 6.5x300 Weatherby Magnum and the recoil is surprisingly close to equal or even softer than my 308. The only downside to this is the extra muzzle blast and noise directed to anyone next to you at the range. The cost is more than other cheap options but this is a premium product and the washer set is a must to properly clock this break. In my opinion it is well worth the cost and I am buying another one for my next AR 10 build.

Love it
I own several different brakes. The M11 is by far my favorite. I let my son talk me out of the one on my RPR 308. I forgot how well it worked so now I have to replace it. It's not as much fun shooting with out it.

Fantastic!
I have this brake mounted on two rifles, a Ruger Precision in 6.5 creedmoor, and a .308. Both rifles have nearly zero recoil. I can watch water bottles explode as close as 100 yards through the scope. This brake reduces recoil I would guess a good 25% more than the factory brake on the RPR and at least 75% reduction vs. no brake

Doesn't Include Crush Washer
Looks well made. Haven't been able to shoot it because apparently a $120 muzzle break doesn't include a 99c crushwasher. Now I had to order crush washers, in order to install it. Once I get the crush washers, and install the muzzle break I will update review.

Over rated
Pro tightened groups 1/4 inch , con baffles to big no difference in rear recoil it does reduce muzzle lift still not enough to keep crosshairs on target mounted on 6.5 creedmoor
