PRECISION ARMAMENT - AFAB Hybrid Muzzle Brake 22 Caliber 1/2-28 SS Black

I have had one for a few years, I love it, and it does mitigate flash and recoil. However, it is not very friendly to the shooters around you.

This really cuts the flash and is well above average for recoil mitigation. An awesome all around muzzle device, worthy of ANY use. Super great for flash hiding in low light, and better than 50% recoil reduction> AWESOME PRODUCT!!! SUPERB FOR TACTICAL USE! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! Not too noisy either! A great all around device that really cuts flash well.

I installed this brake on midlength ar15 rifle. In the past I have used the bcm brake and the battle Comp. The AFAB is a different animal all together. Very little felt recoil and close to no flash. If youre thinking about buying it, buy it.

It doesn't get any better than this. I have done lots of shooting and tried several different comps and this one blows the others out of the water. This comp really amazed me with the reduced muzzle rise and ability to keep the gun on target. I used the Precision Armament Accu-washer kit with it and installs perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

With today's market flooded with all kinds of muzzle breaks and flash hider you tend to wonder at what point technology can go forward to make a muzzle break and flash hider all in one that is able to accomplish both feats. With the help of Nate Griffin ,owner of Ft. Daniel Inc. he showed me a new item that he had received and was very excited about it from Precision Armament. The AFAB came in plastic see thru container. The first thing I thought was another Compensator from the hundreds out on the market, but the AFB really caught my eye. The design, workmanship, and finish were high quality. Nate installed the break on my FD-15 16" barrel for me to try. I took it out to the range and I was very surprised at how well the break worked. Being in law enforcement, we have to do multiple shots very quickly and target recovery was fast. I shot about 200 rounds thru the break and the recoil and muzzle were barely noticeable. I was also impressed when shooting prone, there was hardly any debris coming from the ground especially shooting in the horizontal position. Next came the real test for me night firing. This is where the break really impressed me. Muzzle flash with the break was really minimal and barely visible behind the gun. One of my partners was so impressed by the break that on his new FD-15 Nate will be installing the AFAB break. This is the first product I have used from Precision Armament and I have to say I was very impressed. The workmanship of the break was excellent and it performed way beyond my expectations.
