Faxon bolt carrier M16 5.56
Group fit well and installed easy. Great fit and finish. This went into a new build and will be test fired in a few days. During cleaning and parts check reinstalling the retaining pin for the firing pin was a pain as it seems oversized and bent out so we replaced it with a new one. Went in much easier and stayed tight. If there are any problems Ill come back and update my review. Otherwise I expect top performance.
Terrible
Machining marks all over the tail of the carrier. Gas key staking was weak and very sharp. Firing pin hole was oversized Contacted faxon a week ago to resolve and still havent heard anything Bcg went back to brownells
Poor
firing pin hole is .063 which is oversized. no staking was done machine marks on the tail end of the bolt. this is suppose to be a quality BCG. Faxon has been nothing but poor quality control
