Ordered both the long and short action (30.06/.243) for two old but very accurate Remington 700s. I reload and both rifles shoot under an inch except for the occasional good shot that goes high or low. Both triggers have been replace with upgrades and now so have the firing pins. On dry firing, instead of “clack”, the pins go “click”. All 50 rounds in both rifles received solid divots in the primers and NO MORE group swelling shots. Very minor sanding required to insert the retaining pin, very likely from the rifles being older. This is normal. 20-22 pounds springs (vs 28 OEM) though it doesn’t say it on the BROWNELLS website are good fit inside the bolt. The rifles shoot better.
