VOLQUARTSEN - M&P 15-22 Surestrike Firing Pin Steel

The business end of the Volquartzen firing pin is easily twice as beefy as the stock part. If put a lot of rounds through my AR15-22, and was starting to see light strikes - this pin did the trick. It’s an easy install, just pay attention to the firing pin spring when you tap out the retaining pin and you’ll be good to go.

If you have a Smith MP15-22, you need one of these firing pins. Why Smith & Wesson doesn't put install a working firing pin in these guns is beyond me. This pin is slightly longer and has a very different pin shape. It will detonate all types of 22 Long Rifle ammunition from Lapua to cheapo stuff. Having the rounds actually fire improves the cycling of the action in these guns. You will not have any misfires with this firing pin installed.

Easy to install and fixed the lite primer strike problem. Highly recommend this firing pin for the M&P 15-22 rifle.

I installed this firing pin in a 15-22 Sport and it improves the detonation of the rimfire shell. The firing pin drives slightly deeper and makes positive contact on the shell's rim. No duds at all when using Remington, Aguila, and Federal rimfire shells. If there is a dud, then I can tell it's the shell itself and not the firing pin or firearm. I used the stock firing pin spring. I did notice the Voltqartsen firing pin is slightly longer and the tip is designed to have a more precise tip for detonation. The workmanship and material in the firing pin is definitely higher quality than the factory pin. Yep, I would recommend this as a good upgrade.
