Better than my Factory Pin
Much easier to insert than my factory pin. A bit pricey for what it is, but better than wrestling with my original pin.

no hassle installation
After struggling with cheaper pins, I spent the extra few $$ and got the colt pin. Much easier to install into the bolt. No more turning your head to odd angles and waiting on the stars to align to get a pin in place.

True drop in Colt part
Ive owned a pre-ban Colt Car-15 for 30+ years now and finally got around to losing the firing pin retainer while servicing the rifle. I was pleased to see the actual Colt specific option from Brownells. Decided not to save a couple of dollars by going with cheaper options as we all have been disappointed before. I am very pleased with the replacement part.
