Out of spec - danger of slam fire
The pin I received was out of spec. In 6 different bolts from different manufacturers, including Brownells, the pin would stick and jam inside the bolt when fully inserted. The area just in front of the flange on the bolt tail side was too thick and it would not freely slide. This means that when assembled, the firing pin would ride inside the bolt carrier with the pin fully extended out of the bolt face and into the primer of a new round that would be chambered and creates a danger of firing the newly chambered round in a slam-fire. I am sending it back.
Out of spec. Avoid
Out of spec. Sticks in the tail of every bolt we tested them in. (DD, Colt, Bravo Co, Brownells). The base of the pin in front of the flange on the bolt side is too thick and sticks. Will not move freely.
Do not waste your time
Do not waste your time on these firing pins. I purchased two of them and neither are properly dimensioned. I tried them with six different bolts and they bind/stick in every bolt. These are unusable in my opinion. Complete waste of money!
