Ruger® 10/22 Takedown® barrel is 16-5/8" long with a 1:16" RH twist. Precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel features a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle. Barrel is fitted with a .406 high gold bead front sight, a flip-up rear sight assembly and a thread protector. Blued finish. Barrel weighs 1.59 lbs. (25.44 oz.).

First 10/22 takedown build
This was my second 10/22 build but my first 10/22 takedown build. This little rifle came together with Brownells receiver & bolt and a factory Ruger barrel. The barrel functioned as it should and it mated to the Brownells receiver without a hitch. Accuracy was fantastic once my reflex sight was zeroed. All in all a great experience shopping with Brownells and building a rifle how I wanted.
