Works the way a simple nut should work
It is a simple barrel nut, so fancy stuff. It works the way it was intended. Works perfectly with the Samson Evolution rail. Samson doesn't include the barrel nut with their product which it should, in my opinion. Probably won't need it, but I use blue loctite, just in case.

Perfection
I spent the extra money on this barrel nut after hearing horror stories about cheaper made ones. I attached it using Brownells armorers wrench and they were a match made in heaven, like they were machined together. I torqued this barrel nut to 75 FT. LBS and it shows no wear marks on the teeth and showed no signs of the teeth rounding over. VERY high quality! spend the money to do it right the first time!
