Better than stock pad
Bought for use on a .458 Socom where I push the limit on 500 and 576 grain loads.
Much easier on the shoulder than the hard Magpul "pad".
Does sit a little proud on an STR stock on the top and bottom. The contour of the backing plate isn't an exact match to the stock.
Some people this might be an issue, figured real world pics of an item are always a good thing, so.
