SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - HELLCAT PRO 9MM LUGER HANDGUN MAGAZINE

I shoot my guns. When I head for the range I like having five fully loaded magazines with practice ammo in them. Then I run them hard. I move and shoot, I do speed reloads, tactical reloads, My magazines often hit the dirt, I don't baby them. I've only had one trip these, I limit my round count to about 100-120. It forces me to make my practices efficient and every round count. The magazines have super strong spring, I have to use a reloader to load them up, which I do for all my weapons anyway. So far, no complaints.

I have no complaints! I swapped the textured plastic from my 15rd factory magazine and slid it onto this 17rd (see photo). It looks silly but mates & works perfectly with a non-pro, regular Hellcat. No problems with cycling, jamming, or anything. It's nice to have a couple extra rds for target practice.

I haven't had any issues with functionality so far. They seem to feed fine. However, both of the magazines that I ordered (17 rounds, black base plates) now allow one round to rattle freely in the magazine. It's more annoying than anything. I have confirmed that the rattle persists when the magazine is loaded in the firearm and when the magazine is not loaded completely. Because they still feed fine I am giving 3 stars, but I do not know if I can recommend them. Again, my sample size is only 2, but it's not promising that both of the magazines that I ordered now rattle with less than 100 rounds through each magazine.
