Only game in town...
I wound up ordering nine mags in three orders just to get three mags that will actually fit in the frame without getting stuck. The body dimension varied wildly among these mags. Several had cracked followers right out of the package. The three good mags I kept do go in and drop free nicely, but the followers are super gritty moving in the body. And they all still required some bending of feed lips to get any reliability at all. Project magazines at best. But Triple K seems to be the only game in town so if you need mags for your ACE or conversion unit be prepared to return a few to find the keepers and then tweak them to feed.

Typical triple K mag
Typical 3K mag. Wont fit the application they are made for. I had to spend 2 hours fitting and refinishing. The only reason I bought it is that the original mags are $100+ and used. Soooo, buyer be ware! Triple K wont work without lots of fitting work.

Junk
People over on a Sig forum are pretty universally against Triple-K. Having no real alternatives, I ordered 3 of these for my ACE conversion. For those unfamiliar, this is a .22 conversion created by Colt to reproduce the timing of a .45 ACP while shooting a .22 LR. Two of the magazines were .22's; the 3rd was a .38 SPL, made for the NM 1911 made by Colt for about 6 months back in about 1976, as competition to the S&W Model 52. It was labelled ".22 magazine for Colt ACE." The two .22 mags did not fit the Colt frame that my ACE is mounted on. One needed very firm grip and pull to extract, and the other required being hammered out with a screw driver over the feed lips and striking it with a hammer. This was tried twice to insure the original tightness wasn't a fluke and loosened properly - it did not. The magazine was disassembled to see if any components might be at fault. The plain tube also got stuck the identical way, requiring hammering out. Surprisingly, the last mag fit the NM 1911, ejecting easily and showing no difficulty in seating. I have not been able yet to ascertain whether it will function correctly, but plan on doing so when I get around to reloading some .38 Spl mid-range wadcutters, which is what that pistol shoots. Based upon this experience, I would not recommend anyone buying these magazines. While it is true that original mags for ACE's are ridiculously difficult to find, this is NOT a reasonable alternative.
