Ok, so I did a lot of research on this product and other similar ones looking to replace stock trigger on original M&p full size .40. I chose this trigger as it was the cheapest one by far opposed to an aluminum one or entire seat kit. Some reviews werent too clear so here I am to say it: HANDS DOWN THIS IS NIGHT AND DAY BETTER than stock! Much shorter and crisper trigger pull (I did polish one piece of the existing trigger bar while dissembled tho). I dont see how spending double or even 4x the $$ could make this up to 4x better. Impossible. Youll pay a lot more for a little bit better. $40 is the very best bang for the buck here. Again, much shorter pull, crisp break and really small reset by comparison. Also the FDE trigger safety actually match bc my frame and slide are fde battleworn cerakoted. I will say installation was more involved than expected but without any special tools and some improvising (I used a small Allen wrench instead of a punch for the frame pins) I had everything in place in 45 mins, and that was after making a mistake and redoing it twice. Great product, bit of a fun challenge to figure out myself, you cant go wrong here.

First of all, the ordering process was great. As you would expect with Brownells. As for the trigger , the construction quality is very high , the installation was easy and the improvement is substantial. This trigger from Apex does exactly what it is advertised to do . I installed the trigger with two other parts, the (H)trigger bar and gen three slide stop, this all went into a gen one full size M&P. This method is the easiest and most affordable way to dramatically improve the M&P...thanks Brownells ......

Installed duty/carry sear and spring kit after being disappointed with just the trigger shoe install. Unless you are used to or like the spongy feel of a Glock trigger I would only install this with the full kit. Trigger has much less travel and creep with full kit and a decent resent.

Trigger definitely lightened up the pull and reduced travel but introduced a bit of creep before the break that was not present before install. The reset is also now a bit longer than stock. I tried adjusting the trigger bar to time the reset and sear release properly but could not get reset as good as the factory trigger. This trigger basically turns an M&P trigger into a spongy Glock trigger. I installed on a late model M&P9C so it has the updated Htrigger bar and slide lock that assists reset. Im going to install the whole Apex kit next and see if it improves over all feel of the break and reset.
