Needs only a small amount of fitting and polishing.
The angle is already cut for use, but it's a good idea to polish the tip. It also needs to have the bevel on the nose cut. If you use the Harrison True Radius jig, the nose has plenty of length for that tool.

Nice upgrade
Purchased with the bullet proof hammer and other WC parts as an upgrade to a Taurus PT1911 commander. Perfect fit, machined well, required no minor fitting or smoothing.

Excellent Buy
Don't even think or compare it with other products, just buy this along with the Wilson Hammer. My trigger now breaks at 4 pounds from 7 pounds. Drop in fit for me.

Excellent Sear!
This sear dropped right into my SA GI 1911-A1 and I also installed the Ultralight Hammer and Competition Match Trigger. Trigger pull feels lighter, smoother, without creep, and has a very nice crisp break. I couldn't be happier!
