WILSON COMBAT - 1911 COMPLETE SPRING KITS

I've come to expect nothing but the absolute best from Wilson's, and again, not disappointed at all with any of their products. Use with confidence.

it was great and it somewhat fit my taurus. most of the issues i had was the taurus 1911 itself not any of the springs. my one issues is the flat spring. the side that suppose to engage grips safety was to straight to do so. i had to bend it so it can engage the safety and that took some time to figure out. the springs are alittle longer than the normal springs so be careful when adding them in because it took forever to add the spring for the main housing in the grip. fire pin spring took the longest only because taurus safety plate was stuck on purpose from the factory. had to shave off metal and use a pin hammer to get off. gun shoots way better now. way better and its super smooth. the 18.5 spring for the guide rod really shows since it no longer pulls up but rather pulls back. its weird how one thing changes that. if your building a 1911 like i am from a cheap model than this is the first thing you can get..... be patient in case you get a back of gun trouble.

The hammer spring was a lot longer than the factory and did not work. Neither did the guide rod spring. It was a lot heavier than 18lbs like it said. Wondering if they put the wrong springs in the kit something isn’t right. Replaced it with a different set and got the Wilson combat 17lb flat recoil spring.

I purchased this kit and watched a tutorial on how to assemble it. Half of the springs did not work in my full size 1911. The firing pin spring fit loosely on the firing pin. Watching several tutorial videos I didnt see a single firing pin spring that looked like the one I received. All the tutorials on YouTube showed a different spring than the one in my full size kit. I attempted to use the hammer spring, but installed it wouldnt work with the safety. The plunger spring was too long and did not allow the hammer to move. All in all I used 3 of the springs. The rest were unusable.
