Perfect drop in replacement for S&W 19
Due to the very small size of the S&W Rear Sight Windage screw plunger and spring, it is likely you may lose either the plunger or spring. In this case, I bought the spring as a back up in case I lost the other one. It doesn't cost much and is good insurance to make sure you get the gun back to the customer when promised. The spring perfectly fit the S&W Rear Sight Windage Screw 940-071-880 offered by Brownells. Besides, it is always a good idea to replace springs when you have that part of a used gun already disassembled.
