Since my wife prefers the factory rear Glock sight, I wanted to change out the front factory white dot to a nice bright orange square so that it will contrast more against the white factory rear goal post sight. I chose orange over the LumiGreen for consistency since several of our other handguns have the same setup. Unlike the LumiGreen, the orange paint surrounding the green tritium lamp does not glow after light exposure. Removal and installation the sights were very simple using a Glock front sight tool with magnet along with blue loctite. The Ameriglo sight has some "slop" and requires proper alignment in relation to the rear sight and slide. Using a small framers square made it a lot easier than just trying to eyeball for proper alignment. I would recommend using painters blue tape on your slide to protect it from getting scratched. The Ameriglo sight appears to be narrower than the factory sight leaving a small gap on either side of the sight as pictured. From a distance it's not that noticeable and for that I deducted 1 star. Overall I am happy with the price and setup and would recommend to anyone that just wants to upgrade the front Glock sight.
