If you're tired of dealing with the ambi safety on your SA 1911, this is a good solution. It does not drop in but a quick search will pull up some videos on the fitting process. It takes all of 5 minutes and one tool (after you wrestle the ambi out). I measured the original safety used it for guidance. Installation and fitting only requires removing/replacing the safety itself and the plunger. Everything else, including the grip safety, can stay on the pistol. The finish is parkerized. It's a mil spec sized lever, not extended.
