Simple & effective
Lightweight but built sturdy. Integrated swing ball-lock is a nice touch.

Excellent basic forearm brace
Being forewarned by the reviews, I didn't tighten the set screw harder than it needed to stop the brace from turning. It was rigid with just moderate tightening. The brace is a good value, adds very little weight, fits well with no slop on the buffer tube, no sharp plastic flashing and very functional QD sites. I have not tested it to destruction as I would for tactical/rough usage, but that is not my purpose. I did not test it with a sling. I put a red dot sight on it to gain familiarity with an AR type pistol at the range. It provides good stabilization whether used against the forearm or against the cheek.

Be careful how much you tighten the bolt
Product looks really good but be careful how much torque you put on the set screw. I broke mine on the front section

Mine also broke
Apparently it's a design flaw, because mine went from free rotating to split in about a quarter turn. Strike needs to reenforce the set screw area of the blade.
