What is the WILSON COMBAT - 1911 Reverse Plug Full Size for Bull Barrels?

The 585 Reverse plug is machined from solid stainless bar stock and unlike most reverse plugs is designed to fully support your 5” tapered cone barrel when in battery. This item has a collar-style rear profile and will require gunsmith fitting. The open end is a perfect match for full length guide rods.

Great and practical
This reverse plug required a gunsmith fit, not only for machining the reverse plug shoulders in the slide, but also to take a little off the bull barrel support plug. It looks great because it fills in the gap between the bull barrel and the reverse plug. It also needs a little polish to brighten up the stainless.
