Couldnt use in 1911
Same number of coils as my old spring but was 1.5 longer. Would not allow slide to rack back to the slide stop. Brownells tech support was a great help and informed me the 10lb spring was to light to use with 230 gr. factory ammo and would probably cause damage to the gun. No explanation as to the racking problem. Staying with my original spring.
