HOGUE - 82000 Rubber Grips

They fit like a glove. Here's my tip for putting them on,,put the bottom screws in first because it is much easier to form the grips onto the top screw hole than on the bottom,, better leverage on the top of grip. 100% satisfied

These fit my Ruger Mark 1 with only a little effort to get the last screw hole to line up. The provided spacer fit fine. Comfortable grip, solid purchase on the pistol. Both my daughters, age 12 and 15 and my son, age 10 were able to grip the pistol better than the knock off pearl grips that were on the pistol when I purchased it. Palm swells are noticeable but not excessive. My 15 year old said this about the grips "they are better for shooting and more comfortable, but at what cost?" referring to the style value of the pearl grips. I told her she can put the pearl grips back on when she inherits the pistol. Hogue grips are reliable and are my go to aftermarket grips.

They fit so perfectly that it's like they are molded to the frame. Fit and function is great. Instructions make mention of a supplied inset when fitting to Mk I without slide release and cutting a small semi circle out to accommodate Mk III style mag release button. Won't fit any 22/45.

I used this grip to replace the "well used and slightly abused" plastic factory grips on my MkI pistol. This Hogue grip comes with a form fitted nylon insert to fill-in the hollow for the MkII bolt release that the MkI doesn't have. You must have the later model MkI with A100 stamped into the frame under the left grip panel. I found that I needed to do a little "stretching" of the grip panels to get the mounting screws in proper position to get the screws started but that's was no big deal. Now that I got them on the pistol, I can't say enough good about the feel and fit. Excellent product! NOTE: Because of the close fit of the grip to the Safety button, I did find it a bit tougher to switch to the "safe" position. It takes a little practice (with pistol unloaded) to adapt to this. But this minor inconvenience is nothing compared to what you'll gain.

These grips fit my big, fat meathook hands and my wife's smaller hands as well. They seem ideal for any size of shooter. They are very rugged and easy to install. There are no problems with aftermarket slide release or mag release, and work well with factory grip screws or the aftermarket ones. They are good quality moldings and did not require any fitting or clean-up at all. I am adding these to all my MK-II's except the one that has the Crimson Trace.
