What is the TANGODOWN - Enhanced Slide Stop?

Redesigned thumb pad places the pad slightly forward of the factory position, so your thumb gets to it quicker and returns the pistol to battery faster. Pad is shaped to aid in positive contact to help prevent accidental slide stop engagement, even when you’re wearing gloves. Stamped and formed from durable 4130 steel, then treated with a special hardcoat finish that resists rust and wear.


SPECS: 4130 chromoly steel, black, matte finish/ includes spring. Fits Glock® 3 Pin guns 17, 17L, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35. Will not fit early 2 pin G-17, G-17L, or G-19 guns. Gunsmith installation recommended.

Not quite as much an improvement as I hoped
This enhanced slide stop is an improvement over the stock slide stop on my G17C, but not quite as much as I had hoped. Still glad I installed it, but if I were starting over I would order a more "extended" stop. Installation was very easy, after watching a couple of YT videos.

Improvement Over Factory
This is a very good slide stop. It is much easier to actuate with your thumb compared to the factory Glock part. Easy to install and good quality build. Would recommend.
