The BULLET FORWARD SLIDE RELEASE (BFSR) is designed for aggressive manipulations (read gross motor execution) for positive slide releases and slide stopping power under the most adverse conditions.

The Problem: Using the modern technique (thumbs forward) you can do one of two BAD things:

1. Your thumb can push UP the slide release locking the pistol open during recoil while ammo is still in the pistol.

2. Your thumb can FORCE the slide release down preventing the pistol from locking open when empty.

The Solution: The BULLET FORWARD SLIDE RELEASE prevents these occurrences by placing the slide release tab forward and between your thumbs! This forward thinking enables you to dominate your GLOCK! This part is made with the finest Stainless Steel.

Get a Grip
While I was fine with the stock slide release, I found a need for an extended one. I didn't like the look of this one, but a friend told me it works perfectly. After install I saw what he was talking about. There's no way you'll miss the slide release or allow your finger to slip off, not with this item. You can easily find it without looking and engage the slide release without issue.

Excellent alternative to unavailable OEM
The OEM extended slide release has been unavailable for some time now during 2020-2021, but this part works altogether quite as well, is very sturdy, and is just as easy to actuate as the Glock part. It's equivalently simple to install as the OEM part, and though it does cost more, it's of significantly better quality than some of the cheaper alternative examples available.

GREAT
The bullet slide release by ghost works extremally well. The bump lets me get the thumb pressure that I need to release the slide one handed when and if I need to. Hands getting old and stiff. The vidio that shows how too is most helpful. I did not need to be the guy in the corner with a hammer. Thank you.

Huge difference with this
This forward bullet slide release is a game changer for lefties. The RH shooters would want the version with the rearward bullet. Difficult for me to release the slide with the stock Glock part...or even the Glock extended version....with this forward button its fluid and easy. Installation takes 5 minutes. You pop out the 2 pins [center of pistol] without moving any other internal parts. Slide the stock slide lock out the back, slide the new one in aligning the hole with the big pin, replace pins- done.

Best Lefty Part Yet
Im a left handed LEO and have been shooting Glocks for 15+ years and more than a dozen years as my duty sidearm. Our manual of arms has always dictated using slide stop lever to lock the slide to rear ONLY. To release the slide the operator reaches over the top of the slide with the support hand, grasps the slide behind the ejection port and vigorously pulls the slide to the rear. I only use the slide stop to lock the slide open. The bullet forward design is the best Ive used yet. The 3 dimensional shaped tab allows you push the lever up. As a lefty I can do this with my left index (trigger) finger without adjusting my grip. I bought 1 and after using it, came back for 3 more. This is the only mod a southpaw shooter really needs.
