Cuts down on the hand movement required to depress the mag release so it cuts down on time too. Gives shooters with smaller hands the ability to make faster mag changes. 30 LPI checkering and rectangular shape assures a solid hit. SPECS: Release - steel, blue or stainless steel (SS). Both include oversize, stainless steel rectangular button, 3?8' (9.2mm) x ?' (19mm). Mag catch only, no lock or spring.

Great Design!!!
Wilson Combat really did their homework with this mag-release! It drops right in, and functions flawlessly! Install a set of "VZ" grips, and the release performs perfectly as well. Will not snag nor hang-up in/with professional grade/competition holsters.

Wilson Combat oversize mag release.
Wilson Combat oversized mag release dropped right in my ATI FX Military, functions properly, and looks good on my gun. I can now access the mag release without having to adjust my grip on the gun.

Great
I had trouble with the stock release, with my stubby little thumb. This helped %100! I had to do mild file work to help the mag slide in but that's it. It's nice and tight and releases perfect.

No Glitches
I installed the Wilson Combat Oversize Mag Release in an attempt to ease magazine changes in informal local club and area USPSA matches. The part dropped right in to my Kimber Raptor II with no fitting. It also seems to provide a tighter lockup than the stock part with all of my magazines, the magazines fall freely, and best of all, I do not have to change my grip to release them.

Perfect release
I bought this to fit on my STI Spartan 9mm , was a straight swap and fits perfectly with the factory standard grips with no modifications required. For ease of use its a definite 5 stars, hands down this is the finest product I have ever used in regards to pistol magazine releases, I have smallish hands and can drop a mag without shifting my grip now.
