EGW - .45 ACP Heavy Duty Ejector

Not all slides are created equal, and EGW took that into consideration when they made their OVERSIZE ejector. This part will absolutely require fitting in every dimension, and that is what's so great about it. Short of machining your own ejectors, this is the only way to guarantee that it will fill the ejector slot in the slide and insure proper ejector contact with the cartridge rim. I trim mine to about .200" past stock, and call it a day. Make sure your magazine and cartridges do NOT bump the ejector when inserted as far as the mag will go, if it does either move the ejector nose back more or relieve the bottom inside edge.

lots of fileing will be needed on all points so it clears your slide and blends in but it will work flawlessly when done right.

I'm usually a big EGW fan, but I was a bit disappointed with the ejector. I like EGW's oversize parts 99% of the time, but not this one. Ejectors are supposed to have some clearance with the slide, so they don't need to be oversized in every dimension. I would have preferred it if it was just oversized in length. Super quality materials, though.
