Don't leave them out!
I really wanted these to work out, because they are really cool when they work. The programming through your phone can be finicky but it works. The lights are clear and easily discernible at long range through an optic, I used them from 150m-650m and the only time they were hard to make out was when the sun was full in the middle of a sunny day. The drawback is, if you leave them out, water gets in and the metal washers rust sending rust down the body housing (I tried coating them in grease and water still got in). Insects also get in making nests, these cause the sensors to get less sensitive. The clear reflectors also yellow causing the light transmission to go down. Bottom line, I left them out for a summer and all this happened. Once I started putting them out and pulling them down same day, it became more of a pain than what they were worth and I stopped putting them out all together. I had 9 of these and in the end, I went back to a spotting scope for ease of use.
