TRUE NORTH CONCEPTS - MODULAR HOLSTER ADAPTERS

I am a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer in Denver, CO that is an active shooter. I shoot tactical classes, IPSec, 3 gun, etc. I am not affiliated with either the manufacturer or Brownells. This product is far superior to Safariland UBL/C-UBL mid ride or any drop leg platforms. Lightweight, it is made out of well machined, rigid aluminum, nicely hard-anodized...versus cheap feeling, sloppy fitting loose thermo-plastic materials. Additionally, offers great user flexibility: very user adjustable height and cant with rock solid belt mounting (no play whatsoever, using either PALS or friction fit. I was initially concerned about the stiffness (lack of give), this concern was unfounded. Coupled with the excellent Safariland 6354DO or similar attached via QLS, your gun will properly index each and every time, reliable to the same draw point...meaning faster draws & lower split times. It is comfortable for vehicle use as well. Works with all popular quick mount systems such as Safariland QLS or G-Code. Highly suggest you buy the optional leg strap - incredible stability and well designed. Even the packaging is top notch (think the Apple of gun products), everything you need is included (tool, loctite, color coded screw kits color-keyed to systems you will want to attach). The only possible downside is the price...that said, it is absolutely worth the price for any serious shooters (civilian, military or LE)! Brownells pricing was very fair & below manufacturer direct. I own 4 UBLs and will replace all of them, as budget allows. Strong buy recommendation, True North has made a truly excellent product!

This is a well made product. I wish I had one for my duty belt years ago. It’s super rigid but a Qls adapter has some play so expect that. I have only two minor complaints, one is it says it works with all three hole safariland holsters which is technically true. I have several rds holsters that are called concealment holsters, they ride much lower than a duty holster. What that means is a duty holster will ride where you need it, a concealment rds will be much to low. Not sure if there’s a way to correct that. Just something to keep in mind if you want to use this with a safariland concealment rds holster. Also my second minor issue is I wear it everyday and it’s hard on pants.

Good kit. Useful and a considerable improvement over the stock Safariland product. Costly so down a star. And shouldve come with the necessary bits for a leg strap instead of making that an additional cost down a second start. But truly an improvement and wouldnt want to go back. Thats saying something.
