What is the TROY INDUSTRIES, INC. - Pushbutton Swivel Rail Mount?

Aluminum mount clamps to any Picatinny rail to provide a front sling attachment point exactly where you need it. Non-rotating quick-detach swivel has four locking positions and accepts a 1¼" wide sling. Push-button release allows quick break-away from sling in emergency situations. Use a slot-head screwdriver to tighten the steel cross-bolt that locks the mount to the rail. Bolt head fits flush with mount body, so it won’t snag on sling or gear.

SPECS: Mount – Machined aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Swivel/Cross-Bolt – Steel, black oxide finish.

A most excellent product!

This product is high quality and clamps onto any Picatinny M1913 rail. It will take a 1 1/2" sling. Once installed the swivels only rotate a few degrees. You quickly dismount your sling for rifle maintenance and reinstall it just as quickly. In my pic I've got my sling out installed on the back stock interface at the rear of my Brownells BRN-180.

Works great, slides onto rail and locks up tight. Love that it came with a QD sling swivel. Bought two of them for different guns, with different rails. Worked great.

Another outstanding Troy product !

I bought this rail mount QD for an upgrade on my RRA carbine. Mine has the UTG quadrail and the Troy took a second to start along the rail and then moved only with a slight push/wobble action. Once positioned the throughbolt locked the unit rock solid. The socket on my Vltor Imod is a 360 degree unit but the Troy has limits to keep your sling from looking like the old rubber band powered balsa wood airplanes. The swivel will pivot from roughly 11 to 2 o'clock and goes vertical at its midpoint, or can be inserted to pivot from roughly 2 to 5 o'clock making it horizontal at its midpoint. The construction is a tank yet the QD releases smooth and quickly. This is the quality you want to match your LaRue, Vtac, or others top end slings. Buy with confidence !

you have to remove the bolt to slide this onto the rail. crisp laser printing, solid fit, great QD feature. i love this thing. fits perfectly on a mil-spec rail (i have a lot of different kinds...all of them work).
