Best rifle mag loader I've used.

I use the loader primarily for loading my 223 target gun mags, but it has another slot level for 7.62 bases also. It's easy to pick up cartridges, just need to line up the right slot. It'll run in up to 15 rounds at a time. It is way faster and easier to load with than using stripper clips! I would recommend it.

7.62X51 Are Tight

Well constructed magazine loader. The description does not include 7.62X51 but does include .308 ammunition compatible. I am having trouble fitting 7.62X51 into the larger slot provided for larger cartridges. I can manually load five or eight cartridges but ten are extremely difficult to slide into the magazine. All in all, a thumb and time saver loading my magazines.

Maybe OK for AK?

I purchased loader and some Hornady Black .223. The loader is OK pushing rounds into magazines if you follow directions. Wont pick up my .223. Probably need a loader for .30cal and above and another for smaller than .30 cal. Sliding the bar over the base of my bullets so they pick up 10 is difficult. The bar binds against the other row of rounds, so even with a good slide, it takes TLC to pick them up. Aligning the bar, even with only one row of rounds can be painstaking. The bar like s to slide on the ledge between large and small caliber, so 1/3rd its no rounds, 1/3rd some rounds on the bar and some on the floor, and 1/3rd 10 on the bar. Getting in close and guiding the bar across each row and carefully massaging them out of the packaging holder can work well and often. Thumbing in 10 round can be quicker though.
