Kuhnhausen -My factory 1911 shop manuals
Jerry Kuhnhausen's books are the ultimate Shop Manuals for factory standard 1911's. From how to do a trigger job and nesting barrel lugs to slide or simple assembly and disassembly. I did my first trigger job on a Colt Officers series 80 some 30 years ago using Jerry's first book and it came out smooth as silk and was comfortable a 3 lbs though I moved it back to 4 lbs for carry.

John Browning would say "Wow"
I can't imagine owning a more thorough resource for the mechanical workings of the 1911. If you ever plan on changing or adding custom parts to your pistol. You will learn why and how each part works in relation to every other part. You can improve the function, reliability and accuracy of the greatest pistol ever. This is a must for you library.
