Quality drawings and photos help you to see just what the author is explaining. All the "shop tricks" and "No No's" are shown and explained. Details on how to work on S&W revolvers, plus all the tools needed are outlined in the manual and where to purchase them. From Identifying to troubleshooting to breakdown through repair and refinishing is covered. The back of the manual has a lot of information on the current trend of S&W to use MIM metal and what you can repair and what to leave alone. Great manual...If you work on S&W revolvers or just an owner of one, this is a great source of needed knowledge.
