Remington has great animal dependable
I've used Remington ammo for years hunting competition and just plain old target shooting works well for me thank you.

Last time out 1000 rounds, no failures
When I go out target shooting or plinking I bring a fairly large assortment of ammo. I had 7 brands last time. These were new guns and I wanted to break them in. The pistol was a S&W M+P the rifle a Ruger American Rimfire bolt action. Had a 30 yard and a 50 yard target. The Thunderbolt ammo fires flawlessly through both weapons. At 50 yards I put 10 rounds in 1.5 inches more than once. I had 2 brands that would stovepipe in the S&W at least 2 per magazine. Obviously the Ruger never missed a beat. Pull the trigger, Bang! The other shooter was using a 1962 Remington Nylon rifle. We shared ammo and had more fun with the reliable Thunderbolt. Maybe a fluke, but it was the most consistent ammo we brought. After 8 hours we went through more than 500. Day two was the same. Personally I enjoy cleaning my guns. The wax coating does not bother me. The lead comes out of the barrel with solvent and a bore brush. Not nearly as clean as the higher priced ammo, but clean your weapons when you use them and you will not have any issues. Been using Thunderbolt for many many years.

Very satisfied with 22 Thunderbolt
My son and I find the 22 Thunderbolt to be very reliable and predictable. We have shot ~1500 rounds through our Henry rifles and we have had only ~4 misfires. Given the price point, I find this rate very acceptable.

Excellent reliability!
No failures of any kind in a Ruger MKIV. All 500 went bang! Best range ammo around.

22 LR Thunderbolt Ammo
I have had no problems with the ammunition. I find the ammunition is very reliable. However, my only complaint is the packing of the ammo for shipping. The packers do not pack the ammo careful enough to prevent damage that will occur in the shipment. Damage in handling the cartons by two different shippers has happen each time. The shippers are in a hurry and they throw the cartons around without concern. The first time there were three boxes of ammo broken open in the shipment and two boxes were broken open in second shipment. The packers need to do a better job in packing realizing the shippers do not care whether the cartons get damaged in shipment or not.
