HORNADY - ELD® MATCH 6.5MM CREEDMOOR 140GR RIFLE AMMO

This is my go to ammo when I really want accuracy.. I shoot 1/2" groups consistently with this...and even less.

One of my favorite brands. This ammo absolutely delivers a solid performance and it’s great for the price.

If you shoot LRP or compete and do not reload this round is a must have. Hornady hit a home run with the ELD line and the 140 ELD in 6.5 CM is the sweet spot for many precision rifles in this caliber. The ELD bullet is very forgiving in terms of jump so this is not a bullet that will open up groups dramatically depending on seating depth relative to your chamber. It also functions very well in 6.5 CM AR platforms. I've been able to shoot groups under an inch at 300 yards using this cartridge in a stock RPR. One third MOA far exceeds the guaranteed accuracy for this rifle. If you have to choose one factory loaded 6.5 CM cartridge this is the one you want. I can also state that for hand loaders the brass is easily reloadable 7 times or more before you have to discard.

I started in competitive PRS shooting on an amateur basis last year so I wanted to start with hornady eldm. I'm heading into my second season and my SAC bolt gun eats this ammo up. I had tried other brands to see what my rifle liked to didn't like. after 1300+ rounds and counting, I don't see myself reloading anytime in the near future. I've never had a misfire with this ammo either. we ran it on a a Magnetospeed V3 and SD was in the single digits. on a 26" barrel with 7" suppressor, I was getting 2761 fps

I'm absolutely astounded with Hornady 140gr ELD in 6.5 Creedmoor. My system is a Tikka T3x Tac A1 with a Leupold vx3 6.5-20x EFR. My first time out to the range I was able to shoot some impeccable groups with the rifle right out of the box with minimal break in. Check the images below, which were all accomplished with this ammo. All groups were shot at 200 yards.
