Bullets used in American Whitetail® ammunition feature their pioneering secant ogive design and exclusive InterLock® ring — a raised ring inside the jacket that is embedded in the bullet's core that keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to retain mass and energy.
  • POWDERS - Loaded to conventional velocities, powder is matched to each load for optimum pressure and consistency, ensuring each load is compatible with semi‑autos as well.

Good round for the money
This round shoots consistently more accurate than the equivalent low-cost Winchester and Remington rounds. With a good rest and no wind, I can hold them in a 3 inch circle at two hundred yards out of a Weatherby Vanguard with a 1 in 12 twist barrel. Although, every now and then I will get a flyer. With the equivalent Winchester and Remington rounds, there's no telling where they will go. Of course, the only way to get the best accuracy possible out of your rifle is to practice hand loading.

Whitetail Exterme
This ammo is great in my DPMS GII. Accuracy is a must while hunting, and this round is just that. 1.5' at 100 yards out of a AR with a hunting bullet that preforms. Chronoed at 2709 fps from a 20" barrel. Shot a doe at 83 yards, she took 3 steps, shot another doe at 20 feet, dumped her in her tracks. Burns fairly clean, with no failures to feed or extract, no duds. A great hunting round that doubles as target-practice all at a good price!
