Product Spotlight: MDT GRND-Pod Bipod

It's from MDT, it's called the GRND-Pod (pronounced "ground pod"), and Caleb's here to give us a little show-and-tell about it. If you're into precision shooting, you know MDT makes "gold standard" bipods. They're a little pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for. The GRND-Pod brings MDT quality and stability to a bipod priced to help more shooters look at it and say, "Yep, I can swing that." You can get the GRND-Pod with an M1913 Picatinny mount, ARCA mount, or with the versatile 17S mount. The ONLY place you can get the 17S model is Brownells.

Starting from the ground up, the GRND-Pod comes with rubber feet that can be replaced with any standard Atlas bipod feet. The legs are made of super-strong but lightweight carbon fiber, and the bracket that connects them to the main body is made of high-impact polymer. Above that, the rest of the GRND-Pod is all metal, except for the buttons and the swivel control lever. NO compromises on the parts that matter! The legs can swivel between 4 locking points, and there are 5 stops for extending them. You can deploy the legs simply by pulling on them; hit the release lever to retract them. That's a whole lot of adjustment range in a "budget"-priced bipod!
