Best for .223
This is the best powder by far that I have found for .223 loads in my AR. I use mostly once fired military brass, Lake City for the most part, and H322 is perfect for it. It meters easier than most other powders in my RCBS ChargeMaster dispenser, and seldom gets bridged in a powder funnel. My favorite load is 23.0 Grains of H322 pushing a Hornady 55 grain V-Max bullet and CCI small rifle primers in Lake City 5.56 once fired brass, new if I can find it. In my rifle, it gives superior accuracy and relatively little carbon build up. Like with all loads, start with 10% lower charges and work your way up from there. I do not have velocity or pressure data for this load so you should refer to manuals or Hornady's web site for more information. Be Safe!!! Always use well established methodology and always refer to bullet and powder manufacturers manuals. Never exceed recommended maximum loads. Reloading is a safe and reliable way to get the best accuracy out of a firearm as long as you stick to the safety rules.
