Rugged, fixed rear sight features a precision machined LPA dovetail for easy replacement of a fragile adjustable sight to make your gun more suitable for duty or carry. Extra-wide, .135" notch provides more light around the front blade to open up the sight picture for fast target acquisition. 50 lpi serrations on the rear face help eliminate glare. Allen head setscrew locks sight into slide dovetail for a rock-solid installation that won’t shoot loose. Regulates with most factory installed front sights. Machined from solid steel bar stock with radiused edges that help prevent holster snag. Minor fitting may be required. LPA fits Springfield Armory, Para-Ordnance and other pistols with the LPA dovetail. Will not fit Springfield TRP Operator.

U-Notch rear sight features a “U” rear cutout instead of the standard square notch.

Great replacement rear sight for SA 1911

An excellent rear sight replacement for Springfield Armory 1911 platform pistols with the LPA cut adjustable rear sight. Although some fitting is required the end result is worth the time. Now both of my SA "Range Officer" 1911's are bulletproof.

Might need a lower front sight

Put this on my Springfield Armory Loaded 1911. Installation went smooth but now shoots about 2" low at 15 yards. I will now have to find a lower front sight to compensate..

Too soon to tell

Requires custom fitting. Not installed yet.

Not precisely cut

Just got this sight. It needs some custom cut fitting because it was slightly to big to just push right in on my Springfield armory RO.
