No tweaking required Vintage Series 70

Simple to install after a significant fracture/fail. 40-year-old Colt Government Mark4 Series 70 extractor failure. Remove & replace; no fitment required, no filing no fine-tuning. No specialty tools anyone can do this. Just a simple R&R ..Quick n Painless Back up & working in minutes. Good product

Installed one on a Caspian slide and so far, after 10,000 rounds, it has worked so well that I installed another on a new Rock Island that had a bad factory extractor. It installed fairly easily, but required a little tensioning. It works very well and after my experience, it's the only extractor I will use.

Good Part

This extractor has functioned without fail in my Ruger SR1911 for over 10,000 rounds. No fitting was required.

2 11/16"

This was too long in both directions from the firing pin stop to fit my 70's Colt Gold Cup. I assume any 2 11/16" extractor from any supplier would be the same.
