The Lo-Pro Slope Nose Free Float Quad Rail from Phase 5 gives your AR-15 a radical, futuristic look - but the looks are its least unique feature. The Lo-Pro is all about maximizing accessory mounting real estate, while minimizing weight and bulk. Hence, the front end that extends the top Picatinny rail well forward but slopes backward to the underside of the handguard to keep the "Slope Nose" as trim and maneuverable as possible. The Lo-Pro Slope Nose handguard comes in a Picatinny configuration with a full-length top Picatinny rail, plus partial Picatinny rail segments up front at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. The M-LOK® model has short Picatinny rail segments at the front and rear on top and rows of M-LOK® slots on the sides and bottom for an even more compact profile, yet not at the expense of accessory mounting freedom. Both models have pairs of side-positioned pushbutton QD sling swivel sockets at the front and rear. An overall "Coke bottle" contour means the part of the handguard your hand holds has an unusually small circumference that's easy to grasp.

Compactness and lots of accessory attachment points are only the part of the Lo-Pro Slope Nose Free Float Quad Rail's strengths. It also has Phase 5's ultra-secure True-fitâ„¢ mounting system that clamps around the entire circumference of the (included) proprietary barrel nut with six (6) evenly spaces attachment screws. Other mounting systems distort or pinch the handguard at the bottom, leading to excess stress on the 'guard or the barrel nut that can cause premature failure. Phase 5's True-fit system is extremely strong and secure! You can remove and reinstall your Lo-Pro Slope Nose handguard as often as you need to without risk of wearing it out.
