One of the popular uses of the SIG Sauer MXC system is to pair the compact platform with a suppressor as an integrated platform. However, with lengthy wait times for NFA-regulated suppressors, it can be a while before consumers can train and shoot with such a setup. Enter the SIG Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake.
With the SIG Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake, consumers can order the platform with an inert training device installed onto the barrel that simulates the size and weight of the company's SRD762 suppressor. That way, owners can shoot and familiarize themselves with the gun while waiting for their tax stamp to clear. Once the suppressor arrives, the system can be easily converted to run suppressed.
