A Snag-Free Design for the SIG P365
SIG Sauer continues to build on the success of its incredible micro-compact pistol, the P365, and one of the latest variants of the gun is the P365 SAS, which is purpose-built to provide as streamlined and snag-free of a design as possible while also taming the recoil experienced in smaller handguns.
One of the most noticeable aspects about the SIG Sauer P365 SAS is the addition of the Meprolight FT Bullseye sight on the gun, which eliminates the need for traditional front and rear iron sights. The FT Bullseye sight is tritium-illuminated and provides aiming in a single plane, just like an analog red-dot sight. One of the other major changes made to the SAS model is the addition of a ported slide and barrel, which reduces muzzle flip, allowing shooters to recover from recoil faster and put follow-up shots on target quicker.
- Barrel length: 3.1 inches
- Overall length: 5.8 inches
- Weight: 1.11 pounds
- Ships with two 10-round magazines
Despite these changes on the SIG P365 SAS, many of the original features that made the P365 such a hit in the concealed-carry world are retained, such as the flush-fit, 10-round magazine, reinforced polymer frame and stainless-steel slide. The gun is rated for +P ammunition and measures only 1 inch wide.
