Baschieri & Pellagri (B&P) was founded in 1885 in Bologna, Italy, by Settimio Baschieri, a passionate hunter, and Guido Pellagri, a chemistry graduate. The company quickly made its mark in the firearms industry by pioneering the first smokeless gunpowder, known as Acapnia, at a time when only black powder was available. In 2020, the company was acquired by Fiocchi Munizioni, further enhancing its capabilities and market reach.
