Training At Brownells


Remington / RemArms Authorized Armorer Instruction

Courses presented by Triton Training Group in coordination with Brownells.

Remington 700 Rifle Armorer Course

Date: September 19th, 2022
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $200.00

Remington 870 Shotgun Armorer Course

Date: September 20th – 21st, 2022
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $400.00

AR15/M4 (Unbranded) Armorer Course

Date: September 22nd - 23rd, 2022
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $400.00

Classroom materials, training weapons and tools will be provided by Triton Training Group with the exception of 870 armorer, each student must bring a 870 shotgun to class. Class will provide an in-depth education on the platform to include detailed disassembly, trouble shooting, cleaning and maintenance and inspection. Certificates provided are good for 3 years and include post class support with assistance as needed.

Do I Qualify to Take a Brownells Training Group Course?

Brownells Training Group provides training to all Law Enforcement, Military, Corrections, Private Security, and Qualified Citizens. To verify eligibility, one of the following must be submitted with your application (fax or e-mail of scanned copy). Original documents must be presented in person, along with valid, govt issued ID, prior to the start of training.

Valid forms of verification are:

  1. Valid State DL and either a copy of valid CCW permit, Firearms Owner ID card, Permit to Acquire, or a statement of "No criminal history" from a local law enforcement agency.
  2. Current Law Enforcement Credentials or Active Duty Military ID.
  3. Current Federal Firearms License (FFL) or Curio and Relic (C&R) License.
  4. Course certificate from a Brownells Training Group Course at which credentials were provided within one year prior to the course start date. (We can verify this from our records.)
  5. An Iowa DL is the only required document for any initial (non-firing) CCW course.
