Brownells Invites Community to Celebrate Frank Brownell’s Legacy at 85 on 80 Event

Brownells, the largest gunsmithing and firearm parts retailer in the world and a longtime family‑run business in Grinnell, is inviting friends, customers, and neighbors to join them on Saturday, September 27, for 85 on 80: A Tribute to Frank Brownell (1939–2025). The event begins at 9 AM at Brownells Parkway and will feature free gifts and hourly giveaways throughout the day.

The “85 on 80” name honors Frank’s 85 years of life and the Brownells headquarters located just off Interstate 80, inviting customers and the local community to celebrate where his legacy began. This event is an opportunity for friends, customers, and local supporters to come together in Grinnell to celebrate the values Frank championed, such as his commitment to quality and his passion for bringing people together.
