Introduction 

Welcome back to another Brownells new product spotlight! Today, we’re excited to introduce our latest lineup of armorer’s tools designed to make your bench work more efficient, precise, and secure. From vice blocks to bench blocks and alignment tools, this collection is ideal for anyone building or maintaining AR-style rifles. Let’s dive in.

Upper Receiver Vice Block

First up is our house-branded Upper Receiver Vice Block. This tool is a must-have for installing barrels. It securely holds your upper receiver in place with pins, allowing you to confidently torque barrel nuts or install muzzle devices without worry. Simply pop it into a vise and you're set — no movement, no damage.

This block is especially useful if you're working on a BRN-4 or M27 build, giving you the stability needed for critical installation steps.

BRN-4 Gas Block & Bayonet Lug Bench Block

Next, we have the BRN-4 Gas Block and Bayonet Lug Armorer's Bench Block. Purpose-built for small pin work, this bench block supports your parts during installation or removal of roll pins — including the roll pin for your bayonet lug.

It’s a clean and safe way to protect your components while ensuring precise installation.

Lower Receiver Magwell Block

We’re also introducing a brand-new Lower Receiver Magwell Block. This tool fits snugly into your AR lower and holds it firmly in place during maintenance or parts installation.

Perfect for adding triggers, bolt catches, or any other internal components that benefit from stability during installation.

Buffer Tube Alignment Tool

To complement your lower receiver setup, we’ve added a Buffer Tube Alignment Tool to the lineup. It includes:

• A grip alignment groove

• An Allen key

• A set screw for secure fitment

This tool ensures your buffer tube is perfectly vertical — an essential step when installing the receiver extension and staking the castle nut. It also holds everything securely in place so you can work confidently without misalignment.

AR-15 & AR-308 Reversible Lower Receiver Vice Block

Also in the lineup is our reversible lower receiver vice block, compatible with both AR-15 and AR-308 platforms. It features internal clamps that tighten under pressure, securely holding the lower receiver without scratching or damaging it.

The built-in grip notch groove aids in perfecting your alignment and works in tandem with our buffer tube tool to streamline your assembly or disassembly process.
