The BRN-16A1® Complete Upper Receivers are back!
Styled after the issued U.S. M16A1, the BRN-16A1® has distinct features, found on late 1960s M16 rifles.
The muzzle of the BRN16A1®, is capped by the classic A1 flash hider, with ports around its radius, and is retained by a proper split washer. The flash hider is attached to a lightweight 20 inch barrel, found on AR-15 variants through the M16A1.
Available with a 1-12, great if shooting 55gr bullets. The front sight base is not F-marked, meaning the round, tapered front sight post is properly in line with the carry handle rear sight. The black triangle handguards closely emulate the original M16A1 handguards. A flat slip ring is at the end of the 5.56x45mm NATO barrel assembly.
Mounted to the upper is a proper ejection port cover, with a flat external "bump" (not just an off the shelf A2). The receiver is the proper M16A1 style, with a forward assist but no shell deflector. The rear sight is the standard A1 aperture, that can easily be adjusted with a cartridge or tool. Included bolt carrier group is the proper manganese phosphate mil-spec BCG, with chrome lined interior.

The A1 stock is made using modern glass filled nylon making it strong even without a foam core. It does include a screw to attach the stock to the buffer tube.
