XS Sights DXT2 PRO Series Big Dot Night Sights offer the front sight visibility you expect from the Big Dot design, now with the added corrosion resistance of a BlackNitride finish and the enhanced durability of the tac‑lamp tritium vial in the front sight.
DXT2 PRO Series Big Dot sights drive focus to the front sight using an industry‑leading large, high‑contrast front paired with a low‑profile V‑notch rear. The front sight uses a glow dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low‑light environments before it becomes dark enough for the tritium to take over.
The increased surface area of the convex glow dot allows for greater light absorption, intensifying the brightness and duration of the glow effect. The aluminum‑sleeved tac‑lamp tritium insert further strengthens the front sight, building on an already durable design.
The dot‑the‑“i” sight picture—featuring a tritium dot in the front and a tritium bar in the rear—helps prevent confusion between the sights in high‑stress situations. In real defensive encounters, both the victim and attacker are often in motion, and the defender’s focus naturally shifts toward the threat.
