Brownells Match Precision Optic®
The Brownells MPO line of optics are all made in Japan using high-quality components. Most models feature our Non-Obscuring Milling Reticle (N-OMR) system which features hollow crosshairs that allow the shooter to easily center the target without thick reticle lines blocking their view of the target. The reticle is especially beneficial in our long range first focal plane scopes and allows the reticle to be easily visible at low magnification without obscuring the shooters view of the target at higher magnification.
The Reticles
The 1-6 MPO's "donut" reticle is our homage to the original Austrian Stg 77 1.5x reticle.
Our 1x8 MPO scopes are offered with either an illuminated CQ-NOMR® (Close Quarters Non-Obscuring Milling Reticle) or a fine duplex reticle featuring a fiber optic illiminated center dot.
Our precision scopes utilize an illuminated N-OMR® (Non-Obscuring Milling Reticle) that has hollow crosshairs allowing you to hold on your target without covering it.

MPO Key Features
Turrets: The MPO turrets feature 10 MRAD per turn adjustments in 0.1 MRAD increments. All turrets have a resettable zero and our long range models (3-18x50mm, 5-25x56mm) have an added zero stop built in. Both Turrets feature a helical version of the Brownells Glock slide serrations to ensure a solid grip even with wet or gloved hands.
Illumination : All MPO scopes feature 6 steps of illumination settings with "offs" in between. The MPO 1-6 features a more traditional knurling seen here.
Magnification Lever: The built in magnification lever gives the shooter a solid purchase on the mag ring and helps increase leverage to make mag changes on the clock nearly effortless.
Glass: All MPO scopes feature edge blackened glass, the less stray light bouncing within the optic, the better the image quality. Multicoated lenses help improve light transmission while also protecting the lens surface from scratches. Before the optics are sealed up, they are Argon purged to ensure the internal lenses are fogproof.
