Perfect

I bought this to mount my Magpul PRS stock. Assembled easily and with a nice fit. All of the parts were DPMS except the spring. Great buy.

Good kit

This kit is pretty good for the money. Heavy parts, built pretty strongly. They fit well. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with a castle nut wrench, which would have made my stock changing experience easier.

Not really complete kit for all stocks

I purchased this kit to install a CAA SRS on my SPR 5.56 that came with an adjustable stock. The carbine stocks uses a backplate that has a tab which keeps it from rotating once the buffer tube is installed. The tube on the A2 conversion kit lacks such groove. The threads on the A2 tube are also perfect to hold the pin that keeps the buffer from coming out. Once a backplate is added, the tube can't hold the pin. I must admit I have not tested the pin retention but measuring the width of the plate, the pin will barely touch the tube. I'm still researching how (if) to use this but by no means this is an easy conversion or all inclusive kit for all applications.
